After joining Mori Building Co., Ltd., he was in charge of planning and development projects such as Atago Green Hills, Odaiba Venus Fort, and Roppongi Hills Mori Arts Center. He has been in his current position at the Mori Memorial Foundation since 2003. His specialties are culture and industry, experiential tourism, and city planning. He conducted an interview survey with more than 1,700 foreigners visiting Japan, and was in charge of writing "Tokyo's Brand Power" (published in 2012) focusing on the attractions of Tokyo and the sightseeing experience that attracts them. In recent years, we have been conducting research focusing on the cultural creativity of cities and their support methods, and interviewed about 100 cultural leaders who are active on the front lines of Europe and the United States. He wrote "Who" (2016) and "How to Grow the Culture and Creative Industries in New York" (No. 1, 2018, No. 2, 2019).
