Co-founder & CSO of Empath Inc. Mainly in charge of overseas expansion. He has won six global pitch contests, including IFA Next 2019 (Berlin). Due to his achievements, he has been a pitch instructor in English at "Startup" sponsored by the Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry, J-Startup Program, and Slush Tokyo 2019. He is also a key note speaker at international tech conferences such as ICT Spring 2019 (Luxembourg) and Innovex 2019 (Taipei). I like philosophy and literature more than business. Completed the master's program at the University of Tokyo Graduate School of Arts and Sciences (major: comparative literature and comparative culture). Hazumu is Co-founder and CSO of Empath, a Tokyo-based startup developing an emotion AI, which can identify emotion from the voice in real-time regardless of the language. He won multiple international pitch competitions such as IFA Next 2019 (Berlin) and Pitch Your Startup at ICT Spring 2018 (Luxembourg), which led him to be a pitch coach for J-Startup program supported by Ministry of Economy, Trade, and Industry and Slush Tokyo.
Hazumu holds a BA and an MA in Comparative Literature from the University of Tokyo. He was a visiting researcher at New York University Graduate Scholl of Arts and Science (Department of Comparative Literature) and a research fellow at Aoyama Gakuin University, Department of Social Informatics . He loves literature and philosophy.
