After engaging in international service design projects at the design consulting company FJORD London, museum design in Dubai, advertising and new business planning as a design director at an advertising agency and business consulting company in Tokyo, she is currently at Institute of Industrial Science, University of Tokyo. Specially appointed researcher at DLX Design Lab.
Dylan Yamada-Rice
I am a researcher and artist. I specialise in digital storytelling, games and play on a range of platforms such as apps, augmented and virtual reality, as well as new content for television, all with an emphasis on media for children. To do so I conduct research that crosses academia and the kids media industry. Often using a combination of methods from social sciences combined with those from art and design. I also use graphic narratives to analyse data, think through drawing and tell stories.
Yusuke Sugano
Yusuke Sugano received his PhD in Information Science and Engineering from the University of Tokyo in 2010. He has worked as an assistant professor at the Institute of Industrial Science, the University of Tokyo, a postdoctoral researcher at the Max Planck Institute for Informatics, and an associate professor at the Graduate School of Information Science, Osaka University. He is engaged in research on computer vision and human-computer interaction.
Yosuke Ushigome
Director and Creative Technologist at Takram London. His design work helps people to understand the meaning and potential of new technologies, and to make more informed decisions about the future. He specialises in research, conceptualising futures, expressing visions through prototypes and interaction design, and has worked on a number of projects that focus on the interplay between technology, people and the global environment. Graduated from the Royal College of Art (MA Design Interactions) in 2013.
Ronel Mor
A designer, educator and entrepreneur, Ronel has been working in the field of interaction design since 1994, founding his interaction design company Mantis in Tel Aviv in 1998 and leading digital media projects for internationally renowned brands, museums, TV broadcasters, financial institutions and global companies such as Intel, Microsoft and SanDisk. He has led digital media related projects for internationally renowned brands, museums, TV broadcasters, financial institutions and global companies such as Intel, Microsoft and SanDisk and has won awards in this field.
Hideki Yoshimoto
Hideki Yoshimoto is a designer and engineer, working on a wide range of creative and technology projects. He studied aero-astro engineering at the University of Tokyo and carried out PhD research at the Royal College of Art. He founded TANGENT, his own design studio in 2015 in London. As well as exhibiting his work as an artist, he has worked with some of the world's leading brands on a variety of design projects.
Jun Kamei | Jun Kamei
Biomimetics designer. Born in Osaka. Majored in chemical biotechnology, Faculty of Engineering, Tohoku University. Following the Great East Japan Earthquake in 2011, we co-founded TEDxTohoku, the first TEDx conference in the Tohoku region. Entered the Department of Applied Chemistry, Graduate School of Engineering, Tohoku University, and while attending school, engaged in academic research and joint research with companies in the field of materials engineering biomimetics.
