Inspire Talks is an exciting opportunity to enjoy hearing about cutting edge topics from science and design. In the next session we will feature three speakers from Institute of Industrial Science, DLX Design Lab, and the Royal College of Art, talking about their latest researches and projects deeply associated with water.
Professor Kei Yoshimura (Institute of Industrial Science, the University of Tokyo) will introduce his latest research on the alternative weather forecasting by assimilation of “Heavy Water” using satellite remote sensing.
Naoto Takayama (Designer, DLX Design Lab, the University of Tokyo) will introduce the on-going project: OMNI Microplastics, the project on ocean microplastic issues, with an introduction to the latest prototypes & experiments.
Paul Mendieta (CEO/Founder of Deploy Tech, the Royal College of Art graduate(GID 2020)) will introduce their affordable and sustainable water management solutions from both product and service perspectives.
Following the presentations and a short Q&A, we will leave Zoom and enter another networking platform where we can enjoy conversation with the speakers and participants in a more informal environment. Detailed information will be sent to the participants nearer the date.

Language: Paul Mendieta will speak in English and will be translated into Japanese. The other speakers will present in Japanese but there will be no translation into English.
