The recording of the event:
The University of Tokyo DLX DESIGN ACADEMY presents the 26th edition of Inspire Talks, a series of casual talk events introducing the latest and most advanced research and design activities. In this installment, the sixth generation of mobile communication systems (6G) and future mobility will be discussed passionately from both science and design perspectives.
From the University of Tokyo's Graduate School of Information Science and Technology, Professor Masaki Ito, an expert in transportation informatics who is promoting the digitization of transportation, will talk about the "Beyond 5G" project and other topics. From the DLX Design Lab, Federico Trucchia (left photo) will introduce his approach to this project, using speculative design and design narratives to explore the intersections between technology and social values 10 years into the future.
In addition, special guest Piotr Klarowski, UX Designer at Toyota Advanced User Experience, will take the stage to discuss the latest in-car human-machine interfaces, user experiences, and innovations that mobility companies are working on.
The talk will be followed by a panel discussion (including Q&A) and casual reception (one drink ticket included).
Please join us at this talk event to find out the latest research outcomes from the University of Tokyo and the efforts of cutting-edge companies in this new era of mobility and 6G communication technology.
